PLN#2

As described in The Denver Post in an article "Berthoud Pass closed after tanker spill", yesterday evening, 12:30 PM, a gasoline truck had been driving along Berthoud Pass. The truck overturned from the slippery road and spilled over 4,000 gallons of oil. The road was closed until 11:00 PM and stopped much travel from the Denver Metro area to Winter Park, a ski resort. The driver was unharmed, yet many wonder how the truck flipped in the first place. There were snowy conditions, yet it was not bad enough to overturn a 4,000 gallon oil truck. The cause is being put under investigation and no charges have been given to the driver yet. Hazardous material crew already cleaned up most of the spill and the road is open to public again.
